Clearbit

A B2B data provider, now part of HubSpot: it adds company and contact facts to CRM records, helps score leads and shows which companies visit a website.

What Clearbit is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Clearbit is a B2B data provider: it supplies facts about companies and business contacts to sales and marketing teams. HubSpot acquired Clearbit in December 2023, and Clearbit is now a native data provider inside HubSpot's CRM, the customer database software. HubSpot's Breeze Intelligence, unveiled at INBOUND 2024, replaces the main functions of Clearbit's free platform, and Clearbit's free tools, such as the Logo API, were shut down during 2025.

Clearbit combines public web data, its own data and large language models into standardized data sets. Enrichment fills in a record from an email address or a company domain: industry codes (NAICS, GICS and SIC), corporate hierarchies, employee range, location, revenue and technologies used, and for contacts the normalized role and seniority. The data helps score and route leads in real time. IP intelligence (matching a visitor's IP address to a company) turns anonymous website traffic into buying-intent signals, and form shortening hides form fields that the data can fill.

Clearbit is now sold as part of HubSpot. HubSpot's data enrichment comes with its paid Starter, Professional and Enterprise subscriptions and does not consume HubSpot Credits.
