World Labs API

An API from World Labs that generates explorable 3D worlds from a text prompt, images, a panorama or a video, and returns them as Gaussian splat and mesh files.

What World Labs API is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

The World Labs API (also called the World API or Marble API) gives programs access to Marble, the world model of World Labs. A world model is an AI model that generates a consistent 3D environment instead of a single flat image. Marble builds such a world from a text prompt, one or more images, a 360° panorama or a short video.

A program sends a POST request with its API key to the worlds:generate endpoint, names a model such as marble-1.1, and receives an operation ID. It then polls the operation until the world is ready, which takes about five minutes. The result holds Gaussian splat files in SPZ format at several resolutions, a collider mesh, a panorama image and a caption. A Gaussian splat stores a scene as many small, colored 3D blobs that a renderer can draw from any viewpoint.

The API is a hosted, pay-per-use service: credits are bought in advance on the World Labs Platform, separately from Marble app subscriptions. In September 2026 World Labs signed an agreement to join AMD.
