Cello

A referral platform for software companies: it adds a user referral program to a product, tracks which referrals lead to purchases and pays out the rewards.

What Cello is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Cello is a referral platform for building user referral and partner referral programs for SaaS products. In a user referral program, existing users share a personal link or code, and they receive a reward when the people they invited sign up and pay. Attribution is the tracking that links each signup and purchase to the user who referred it.

A developer embeds Cello's referral component in a web or mobile app with a few lines of code, so users can share from inside the product; Cello also generates landing pages for the shared links. Cello captures referral codes, tracks signups and purchases, and applies discounts. It connects to Stripe and other payment providers for automated attribution and payouts based on results, pays rewards in more than 10 countries and currencies, and handles tax and KYC compliance. An analytics dashboard, email and in-product notifications, webhooks, an API and an MCP server for AI coding tools complete the platform.

Cello is a hosted service sold as subscriptions priced by the yearly revenue that comes from referrals; partner programs have a free plan with a fee on each transaction.
