Draftbit

A browser-based app builder: it creates iPhone, Android and web apps through visual editing and AI agents, and publishes them to the app stores.

What Draftbit is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Draftbit is a browser-based builder for cross-platform apps, apps that run on the web, iOS and Android from one project. It is made for non-technical and less experienced developers. The current version combines AI coding agents with visual editing; the older visual builder is still documented as Draftbit Classic (v1).

A user describes the app, the AI turns the description into a list of tasks and builds a first version, and the user follows the work in a live web preview. The app is then changed with drag-and-drop visual editing, with AI agents such as Claude Code and OpenAI Codex that run on the user's own Claude or ChatGPT subscription or API key, or in the built-in code editor. Apps connect to REST and GraphQL APIs or to a built-in Supabase backend. Publishing as a Progressive Web App, to the Apple App Store and to Google Play takes a few clicks, and paid plans export the full code to GitHub.

Draftbit is a subscription service with a free plan; AI credits can be bought separately.
