FlutterFlow is a visual development platform made by FlutterFlow, Inc., a company founded by two former Google engineers. It is a low-code tool: developers build mobile, web and desktop apps mostly by drag and drop in an editor instead of writing all the code by hand.
Screens are built from more than 200 ready-made UI elements, and app logic is built in a visual Action Flow Editor; custom code, actions and widgets can be added where the visual tools stop. Built-in integrations connect the app to Firebase or Supabase databases, to any REST API, and to payment and map services. FlutterFlow generates a Flutter project, Dart code for Flutter, Google's open-source framework that builds apps for several platforms from one codebase. The code can be downloaded or pushed to GitHub, and builds can be deployed to the App Store, Google Play and the web. Teams work on branches and edit together in real time.
It is a hosted platform sold by subscription: a free plan for up to 2 projects, and paid plans priced per seat.
