Lovable

An AI app builder: a person describes a website or web app in plain language, and Lovable writes the code, runs it and hosts it.

What Lovable is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Lovable is an AI app builder, a platform where a person describes software in plain language and an AI agent writes the code. Its documentation calls it a full-stack AI development platform for web applications. Full-stack means both the frontend, the part that runs in the browser, and the backend: servers, database and user logins.

A user types a request in a chat, and Lovable generates a working application with frontend, backend, database, authentication and integrations, all as editable code. Each project is one application, and its code can be synced to GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket. Lovable also hosts the finished app, with SSL and custom domains, and offers connectors to other services and built-in payment handling. Teams work together in shared workspaces.

Lovable is a hosted service used in the browser. It has a free plan with daily build credits. Paid Pro and Business plans are monthly or annual subscriptions priced by credits, the units Lovable uses to measure building, hosting and AI features, not by seats or projects.
