Pipedream Connect

A developer service that lets AI agents and apps act in their users' accounts on 3,000+ other apps, with managed sign-in, prebuilt tools and an API proxy.

What Pipedream Connect is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Pipedream Connect is integration infrastructure for developers who build AI agents and apps, made by Pipedream, Inc. An integration here is a connection that lets software read from or write to another app, such as Slack, Gmail or Stripe, on behalf of a user.

The developer's users authorize their accounts through Connect Link, a hosted sign-in page, or an embedded flow. Pipedream runs the OAuth process (the standard by which a user grants an app access to an account without sharing a password), stores the tokens encrypted and refreshes them. The agent then uses more than 10,000 prebuilt actions and triggers, through SDKs for TypeScript, Python and Java, REST, or one remote MCP endpoint (Model Context Protocol, the standard that lets an AI assistant call tools). Triggers send events from users' apps to a webhook in real time, and a proxy forwards any other API request with the user's credentials attached. Requests run in Pipedream's managed runtime.

Connect is a hosted service, free in development. Production use is a subscription that includes some users and usage credits, then charges per extra user and credit.
