skills.sh

An open directory of installable skills for AI coding agents, run by Vercel, that ranks each skill by how often developers install it.

What skills.sh is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

skills.sh is an open directory of skills for AI agents, operated by Vercel. A skill is a reusable package of instructions, kept in a GitHub repository with a SKILL.md definition file, that gives an agent procedural knowledge for a task, such as calling a particular API or following a design method.

A developer installs a skill with the open-source skills CLI (command-line tool): the command npx skills add <owner/repo> fetches it from GitHub and makes it available to agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot and Windsurf. The site indexes every public skill installed through this CLI and ranks skills by anonymous, deduplicated install counts that the CLI reports, so a skill is listed without a separate submission. Each skill page shows the source repository, the install count, the agents that use it most and the results of security audits by partner companies; skills that fail every audit are removed. Packs bundle several skills into one install command.

The directory is free to use, and the CLI, the ingestion pipeline and the site are open source.
