Smartlead

Cold email software: it sends personalized sales email sequences from many sender mailboxes, warms up new addresses to avoid spam folders and collects all replies in one inbox.

What Smartlead is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Smartlead is cold email software for sales teams, made by Smartlead. Cold email is a first sales email to a person who has not been in contact with the company before. Smartlead sends personalized email sequences from many sender mailboxes and handles the replies in one place.

A team connects any number of mailboxes and uploads its leads. Smartlead rotates the sending between mailboxes and runs warm-up: an engine that sends, opens and answers emails in a private network so that each new address builds a sender reputation and reaches the primary inbox instead of spam. It also sets up the SPF, DKIM and DMARC DNS records, which prove that the mail comes from the domain owner. Campaigns use personalization fields, spintax (text variants), follow-up subsequences based on the lead's intent and automated replies. A master inbox, called the unibox, collects the replies from all campaigns. Add-ons provide verified leads and ready-made mailboxes, and an API, webhooks and an MCP server connect it to other tools.

It is a hosted service with a monthly or yearly subscription; plans differ by the number of contacts and emails sent each month.
