Tailwind Plus (formerly Tailwind UI)

A paid collection of UI components, website templates and a UI kit built with Tailwind CSS by its makers; it was called Tailwind UI until March 2025.

What Tailwind Plus is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Tailwind Plus, called Tailwind UI until March 2025, is a collection of UI components and templates from Tailwind Labs, the makers of Tailwind CSS. Tailwind CSS is a utility-first CSS framework: instead of writing separate style sheets, a developer composes small classes such as flex, pt-4 and text-center directly in the HTML markup to style each element.

Tailwind Plus gives access to component examples, website templates and the Catalyst UI kit. For example, the Radiant template, a SaaS marketing site, is built with Next.js, Framer Motion and Tailwind CSS, with a blog run on the Sanity content platform. In the March 2025 announcement, Tailwind Labs also named ideas it was exploring for Plus members, such as Tailwind Play accounts, custom editor themes, color palettes, typography themes and early access to beta documentation.

It is sold as a one-time purchase with lifetime access, not a subscription. Existing Tailwind UI All-Access licenses became Tailwind Plus licenses at no extra cost.
