Tella

A screen-recording and video-editing app: it records the screen, camera and voice, edits the result through its transcript, and shares the video as a link.

What Tella is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Tella is screen-recording software for Mac, Windows and the web browser, with a video editor and video hosting in the same product. It records the screen, the camera, the microphone and the system audio. The screen and the camera are kept as separate tracks, so the layout can still change after recording.

After a recording, Tella adds layouts, backgrounds, zoom effects and subtitles automatically. The editor works on a timeline or on the transcript: deleting words in the text removes mistakes, filler words and silences from the video. Transcription covers 106 languages, and a sound tool removes background noise and echo. The Tella Agent is an AI editor that makes edits from chat messages and is paid for with monthly credits. A finished video is shared as a link or an embedded player, or downloaded in up to 4K at 60 frames per second; viewer analytics show who watched and where viewers stopped.

It is a subscription service priced per user, with Pro, Premium and Enterprise plans and a 7-day free trial of Pro.
