Apollo.io

A sales platform built on a database of business contacts: a sales team finds prospects and their email addresses, then sends outreach sequences from the same system.

What Apollo.io is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Apollo.io is a B2B sales platform that the company calls an AI GTM system; GTM (go-to-market) means the work of finding, contacting and winning customers. Its core is a database of more than 240 million contacts and 30 million companies, searchable by more than 65 attributes, including firmographic data (facts about a company), contact details, job changes and intent signals.

A user builds a list of prospects, finds their email addresses and sends them sequences, which are series of outreach emails that run automatically on a schedule. Apollo also enriches records, which means it fills in missing contact and company data in a CRM or a CSV file. Its AI agents can research prospects, build lists, write outreach, follow up and book meetings. Apollo also works inside other tools through a Chrome extension, more than 200 integrations, and connections to ChatGPT and Claude.

Apollo is a hosted service. It has a free plan with no time limit and paid plans for each seat (user); actions in the platform use credits.
