What Contentsquare is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Contentsquare is an experience analytics platform from the company Contentsquare. Experience analytics records how visitors behave on a website or mobile app (where they click, scroll and leave) so that a business can find what blocks them and fix it.

A website loads the Contentsquare main tracking tag, a JavaScript snippet added to the page template or through a tag manager such as Google Tag Manager. The tag collects clicks, scrolls and form fills without manual tagging of each element. The platform then shows heatmaps of clicks, hovers and scrolls, session replays that play back a visit, journey and funnel analysis that shows where users drop off, error and performance monitoring, surveys and A/B testing. AI features summarize replays and heatmaps, an MCP server connects the data to AI assistants, and visits by AI agents are analyzed too. Data can be exported to the customer's data warehouse.

Contentsquare is a hosted service. A free plan exists; the Growth plan is a monthly subscription priced by sessions, and Pro and Enterprise plans have custom prices.
