Context.dev

A web data API for AI agents and apps: it scrapes, crawls and searches web pages into Markdown or JSON and returns a company's logos and brand colors.

What Context.dev is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Context.dev is a web data API (an interface that another program calls over the internet) for AI agents and other software, made by the company Context.dev. It fetches web pages and returns their content in forms that a language model or a program can use.

The scrape endpoint takes a URL and returns the page as Markdown, structured JSON or a screenshot. JavaScript rendering and managed proxies are always on, so pages that build their content in the browser are read in full. Other endpoints map all URLs of a domain, crawl whole sites in batches, search the live web, answer research questions with sources, parse documents and watch pages for changes. The brand API returns a company's profile, logos, colors and style guide from its domain, which apps use to fill in onboarding forms. SDKs exist for TypeScript, Python, Ruby, Go and PHP, with a CLI and an MCP server.

Context.dev is a hosted service billed in credits: a free tier with 1,000 credits a month, and monthly or yearly plans with more credits.
