incident.io

An incident management platform whose Status Pages show customers, in real time, whether a company's services work and what is being done about an outage.

What incident.io is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

incident.io is an incident management platform: software that helps an engineering team respond to outages. Status Pages is one of its products. A status page is a public web page that shows whether each service is working, the current incidents, planned maintenance and the uptime history.

A company splits its system into components, such as an API, a mobile app or a region, and each component has a status: operational, degraded performance, partial outage or major outage. Updates are posted from the incident workflow, from templates, or automatically from monitoring tools through integrations, webhooks or the API, and uptime is calculated from the status changes. Customers subscribe to the components they care about by email, Slack or RSS. Besides public pages there are private pages for chosen customers and internal pages for staff, and a traffic spike on the page can trigger an internal alert. The platform also covers on-call schedules and incident response in Slack or Microsoft Teams.

incident.io is a hosted service. Status pages are part of its plans, from a free Basic plan to paid plans priced per user per month.
