Monid

A pay-per-call marketplace of tools for AI agents: one account and one balance let an agent find and call thousands of third-party APIs, such as search, scraping and data enrichment.

What Monid is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Monid is a marketplace and router for the tools that AI agents call, which describes itself as "OpenRouter for agent tools". One account and one balance give an agent access to more than 2,800 tools and APIs from over 90 providers: web search and scraping, people and company enrichment, social-platform data, and video, image and voice generation.

An agent connects through a skill file, a remote MCP server (Model Context Protocol, a standard way for agents to call tools), a command-line tool or the HTTP API. The agent describes the job, discover ranks matching endpoints by fit and price, inspect shows an endpoint's inputs, and run calls it. Monid holds the providers' API keys and brokers each call, so there is no sign-up per provider. Each connector, a declarative description of one provider's endpoints, states how usage is counted: per call, per result, or per unit such as a second of video.

The connector framework is open source under the MIT license. The hosted service has no subscription: each call is debited from the balance, most endpoints at the provider's standard rate, and failed calls are not charged.
