PromoteKit is affiliate marketing software built on Stripe, the payment service. In an affiliate program, outside partners (affiliates) recommend a product and earn a commission on each sale they bring. PromoteKit tracks those referrals, calculates the commissions and pays the affiliates.
There are three ways to connect it to Stripe. In code, the business passes affiliate metadata in its existing Stripe checkout or subscription creation API call. With a script on the website, it tracks purchases made through Stripe Payment Links, the embeddable pricing table or buy buttons. Without code, it generates a coupon code for each affiliate. Commissions can be recurring on subscriptions or one-time, and can change by tier or by Stripe product. Affiliates follow their results in a portal that can run on the business's own domain. Payouts go in one click to bank accounts in more than 100 countries through Stripe Connect, and the service collects 1099 tax forms. It also detects self-referral fraud.
PromoteKit is a hosted service sold as a subscription, with no transaction fees. The free plan covers the first 3 referrals.
