Sapiom

Infrastructure for AI agents: it routes their model calls, runs them in managed sandboxes, and lets them pay for tools and purchases within set limits.

What Sapiom is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Sapiom builds infrastructure for AI agents, programs that use language models to decide and act on their own. It started with payments, because an agent has no way of its own to pay for a model, a tool or a purchase.

Its August 2026 announcement describes three products. Sapiom Router takes an application's model calls through an OpenAI- or Anthropic-compatible API and sends each call to the most efficient model. Agent Studio builds and tests agents. Sapiom Runtime operates agents in production: it provides sandboxes (isolated environments where agent code runs), memory, secrets, scheduled triggers and automatic recovery when a step fails. Through this one integration an agent can search the web, use a browser, send SMS and email and call models, and every call is recorded with its cost. The current home page presents Sapiom Pay: a buyer saves a card once, approves each purchase, and Sapiom fills the card into the merchant's checkout without the agent seeing the card details.

Sapiom is a hosted service. Runtime is billed per agent run, and Agent Studio is free.
