Tally

An online form builder: users create forms and surveys by typing as in a text document, share or embed them, and collect unlimited responses for free.

What Tally is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Tally is an online form builder made by Tally BV, a company based in Belgium. A form builder is a tool for creating web forms, such as surveys, quizzes, order forms or sign-up forms, without writing code. In Tally a form works like a text document: the user types questions on the page and inserts blocks, as in Notion.

Input blocks collect contact details, file uploads, e-signatures, ratings and payments. Conditional logic shows or hides questions based on earlier answers, a calculator computes scores or prices, and hidden fields pass data such as UTM parameters into the form through the URL. A form can be shared as a Tally link, embedded in a website or shown as a popup. Integrations send submissions to Notion, Google Sheets, Airtable, Slack, Zapier, Make or any HTTP endpoint through webhooks. Tally states that it complies with GDPR, stores form data in Europe and encrypts it in transit and at rest.

Tally is a hosted service. Unlimited forms and submissions are free within fair-use guidelines; paid Pro and Business subscriptions add features such as removing Tally branding, custom domains and team collaboration.
