ChartMogul is a subscription analytics service for software companies that charge recurring fees. It turns raw billing records (payments, refunds, upgrades, discounts, currency changes) into revenue metrics: MRR (monthly recurring revenue), ARR (annual recurring revenue), churn (the share of customers or revenue lost), and LTV (lifetime value, the revenue a customer brings over the whole subscription).
The company connects billing systems such as Stripe or Chargebee, or sends its own data through the API, CSV files or Zapier. ChartMogul links one customer's subscriptions across several billing systems, handles free trials, tiered plans, add-ons, usage-based fees and several currencies, and shows the movements of MRR for each account. Users segment metrics by plan, country or cohort (a group of customers who started in the same period), compare them with benchmarks of similar companies, and ask questions to a built-in AI assistant. A built-in CRM keeps leads, deals and e-mail conversations next to the revenue data.
ChartMogul is a hosted service. It is free until a company reaches US$10K MRR; above that, the monthly price grows with the company's revenue.
