Notion is a workspace application made by Notion Labs, Inc. A team keeps its documents, wikis, project plans and lists in one shared place, which runs on the web, on the desktop and on mobile.
Every page is built from blocks, pieces of content such as paragraphs, bullet points, to-do checkboxes and images. A Notion database is a collection of pages: each item is its own page, and properties such as dates, status and links describe it. The same database can be shown as a table, a list, a calendar or a chart, with filters and sorts; one database can, for example, hold a CRM of contacts, companies and deals. Notion AI generates documents, fills database fields and answers questions with citations from the workspace and connected apps, and Custom Agents run repeated tasks automatically. Pages can also be published to the web as simple sites, and forms collect answers into a database.
Notion is a hosted service. A free plan covers individuals; team plans are billed per member per month, with a discount for yearly payment.
