Claude plugin directory

Anthropic's public catalog of plugins for its Claude assistant: software makers list add-ons there, and Claude users find and install them.

What Claude plugin directory is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

The Claude plugin directory is Anthropic's catalog of plugins for Claude, shown on the Claude Marketplace website. A plugin is a package that adds abilities to Claude: skills (written instructions for a kind of task), agents, hooks (code that runs at fixed points), commands, and MCP servers (programs that connect Claude to outside tools and data through the Model Context Protocol).

Claude users browse the directory, open a plugin's description and install it in one step; the plugin then works in Claude chat, in Cowork and in Claude Code, Anthropic's coding agent. The page listed 526 plugins for Claude Code, some marked "Anthropic verified". A software maker lists a plugin by connecting a GitHub account and submitting the repository that holds it through a developer portal on claude.ai. Anthropic checks each version before it goes live, the repository must be public at that point, and later versions on the tracked branch can be published as updates.

The directory is run by Anthropic. The downloaded pages state no listing fee and no price.
