AutoSend is an email service provider: a company that sends email on behalf of other software, so that the software does not run its own mail servers. It handles two kinds of email. Transactional email is a single message caused by a user action, such as a one-time password or an alert. Marketing email is a campaign sent to a list of contacts.
A program sends a message through a REST API (a web interface called over HTTPS) or through SMTP, the standard mail protocol, with libraries for Node.js and Next.js. Webhooks report each delivery, open, bounce or failure back to the program, and an inbound API turns received emails into structured JSON. For marketing, AutoSend has a Markdown email builder, audience segments, gradual domain warm-up to build trust with mailbox providers, and automated sequences started by user actions. AI agents can manage it through an MCP server.
It is a hosted service. Monthly plans are priced by the number of emails sent, not by the number of contacts; there is no free plan.
