Chatra

A live chat service for websites: a chat widget lets visitors message a business in real time, and agents answer from one inbox that also holds email and social messages.

What Chatra is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Chatra is a live chat and messaging service for businesses, now part of Brevo, a marketing and CRM company. Live chat means a small chat window, called a widget, on a website, in which visitors write to the business and get answers in real time. Chatra also has a messenger mode, in which agents reply at their own pace.

Agents answer from one dashboard that also collects email, Instagram and Facebook messages, in a browser or in iOS and Android apps. A real-time list shows who is on the website, with browsing history and location, and the feature list includes shopping cart contents. Chatbots collect visitors' contacts and consent and offer quick answers to frequent questions; triggers send targeted messages. Integrations cover WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, Slack and Zapier, and developers have a JavaScript API, a REST API and outgoing webhooks.

Chatra is a hosted service billed per agent per month. A free plan covers one agent and five chats a month; paid plans start with a 10-day free trial.
