MailerSend

A transactional email service: an application sends automatic messages such as sign-up confirmations, password resets and receipts through its API or SMTP relay.

What MailerSend is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

MailerSend is a transactional email service made by MailerSend. A transactional email is a message that an application sends automatically to one person because of an action or event, such as a sign-up confirmation, a password reset, a receipt or a shipping update, as opposed to a marketing newsletter sent to a list.

An application sends each message through the MailerSend email API (an HTTPS request with sender, recipients, subject and an HTML or text body) or through the SMTP relay, which accepts mail from any software that can send by SMTP, the standard mail protocol. SDK libraries exist for Node.js, Python, Java, Laravel, PHP, Go and Ruby. Emails can be designed as dynamic templates in a drag-and-drop, HTML or rich-text editor. Webhooks report delivery events in real time. The service also offers inbound email routing, email validation, DMARC and blocklist monitoring, an SMS API for the USA and Canada, and a WhatsApp API.

MailerSend is a hosted service with a free plan and paid monthly plans priced by email volume.
