Astra Pentest

Penetration testing as a service: automated scans, AI agents and certified human testers attack a company's apps and deliver a report for audits such as SOC 2.

What Astra Pentest is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Astra Pentest is the PTaaS (penetration testing as a service) platform of ASTRA IT, Inc. A penetration test, or pentest, is an authorized simulated attack on a system to find security weaknesses before real attackers do. Astra sells this as a continuous online service instead of a single yearly project.

A customer chooses a feature or component in the dashboard and sets the scope. Automated scans start at once, and certified pentesters then model the threats and test by hand; an autonomous mode uses AI agents that chain vulnerabilities into attack paths. Findings appear in the dashboard or in Slack with steps to fix them. After a fix, the customer requests a re-scan, and a passing target receives a security certificate. Reports are written for compliance audits such as SOC 2, ISO 27001 and HIPAA, and the service connects to GitHub, GitLab, Jira and Slack.

It is a hosted service sold by yearly subscription per target, for example one web app; enterprise plans are quoted on request.
