Acquire.com

An online marketplace where founders list a startup for sale and buyers contact them; it supplies tools for the offer letter, the contract and the escrow payment.

What Acquire.com is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Acquire.com is an online marketplace for buying and selling profitable online businesses: SaaS (software sold as a subscription), ecommerce, agencies, content sites, newsletters, mobile apps and crypto businesses. Its home page counts over 500,000 entrepreneurs on the platform and over 2,000 startups sold.

A seller creates a listing whose metrics stay up to date through synchronized data, and Acquire.com runs ad campaigns that show it to buyers. Buyers browse vetted listings or enter search criteria, check web, customer and financial metrics, and make an offer. The platform verifies buyer identities and available funds, sends NDAs (non-disclosure agreements) automatically, and has builders for the LOI (letter of intent, the first written offer) and the APA (asset purchase agreement, the final sale contract). The deal closes through Escrow.com, a third party that holds the money until the business is handed over, at no charge. SaaS founders with over US$100,000 of revenue can also hire its advisory team.

Sellers pay a monthly listing fee and a closing fee that is a percentage of the sale price; buyers can browse for free or pay for a membership.
