Termly

A privacy compliance service for websites and apps: it generates and hosts privacy policies, terms of service and EULAs, and runs cookie consent banners.

What Termly is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Termly is a data privacy compliance service made by Termly Inc. It generates legal documents for websites and apps, such as privacy policies, terms and conditions, cookie policies and EULAs (end-user license agreements), and it runs a consent management platform (CMP): the cookie banner and preference center that record whether each visitor accepts tracking.

A business answers questions in a policy generator, and Termly builds the document from attorney-crafted text. The business then copies a link or a code snippet onto its site. Hosted policies stay up to date in real time when Termly's legal team updates them for new laws; static HTML policies can also be embedded. A cookie scanner finds and classifies the site's cookies, a script blocker holds back trackers until the visitor consents, and a DSAR (data subject access request) form lets visitors ask to access, edit, transfer or delete their personal data. Termly covers laws such as the GDPR in the EU and the CCPA/CPRA in California. Termly states that it is not a law firm.

Termly is a hosted service with a free plan and subscriptions priced per website, billed monthly or yearly.
