Deel

A global payroll and HR platform: it hires, contracts and pays employees and contractors in other countries for a business, including as their legal employer.

What Deel is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Deel is a global people platform made by the company Deel: software and services to hire, pay and manage workers in other countries. One of its services is an employer of record (EOR), a company that legally employs a worker in a country on behalf of a business that has no local entity there.

For contractors, Deel handles contracts, automated invoicing, tax form collection and payments in more than 120 currencies; with Contractor of Record, Deel also takes over the legal risk of how the worker is classified. For employees, its EOR covers contracts, payroll, tax filings, benefits and local compliance in more than 130 countries, and its US PEO (co-employment) covers all 50 US states. Other modules keep HR records, ship and support work devices (Deel IT), handle visas (Deel Mobility) and help with recruiting. An API connects Deel to other software.

Deel is a subscription service priced per worker per month, with month-to-month terms and no long-term contract.
