Helm

A macOS and iOS app that manages App Store Connect: app developers update store listings, screenshots, TestFlight builds, reviews and submissions without Apple's website.

What Helm is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Helm for App Store Connect is an app for macOS and iOS, made by Anima Software. App Store Connect is Apple's website and API where developers manage their apps on the App Store; Helm is a faster client for it and is not made by Apple.

Helm connects through App Store Connect API keys, which stay in the device's keychain. In the app a developer edits listing text and release notes, arranges and uploads screenshots and app previews, manages TestFlight testers and builds, answers user reviews, manages in-app purchases and subscriptions, and submits versions for review. AI functions improve and translate text into every localization, suggest keywords for ASO (App Store Optimization, work that makes an app easier to find in store search), and summarize reviews. A command-line tool, helm-asc, runs the same tasks from a terminal or for coding agents.

Helm is downloaded from the App Store. The free version allows 6 App Store submissions a year; Helm Pro, sold weekly, monthly, yearly or as a lifetime purchase, removes the limits, and one purchase covers both macOS and iOS.
