ImpressKit

A hosted press kit service for mobile app developers: it publishes an app's description, images, videos, press releases and extra text pages as web pages.

What ImpressKit is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

ImpressKit is a web service for building press kits for apps, operated by the developer Filip Nemecek. A press kit is a page that gives journalists what they need to write about a product: a text overview, images, videos, facts, links and contact details.

A developer writes the content in Markdown editors (Markdown is a simple text format for headings, lists and links) and uploads images with tags, videos and files. ImpressKit publishes the kit at its own address on impresskit.net, with links to the App Store, Google Play, the app's website and email contact, a list of press releases, and optional separate text pages; one example kit uses such a page for its iOS changelog. A kit can be offered in several languages. The service also lists contact details of iOS and Apple journalists and has free guides on writing and sending press releases. Existing press kits can be migrated.

ImpressKit is a hosted subscription with a single plan that includes unlimited press kits and press releases, paid yearly after a free first month.
