What Internshala is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Internshala is an Indian online marketplace for early-career hiring. Companies post internships and jobs for freshers (people at the start of their career, usually students or new graduates), and candidates search the listings and apply. It is run by Scholiverse Educare Private Limited; its about page says the founder, Sarvesh, started it as a blog in 2010 and launched the website in 2013.

An employer posts a listing and receives the applications in its Internshala account. The employer pages also describe a searchable database of more than 35 million candidates (Database Pro), AI resume matching and an AI interviewer that screen applicants, aptitude, soft-skill and technical assessments, and employer-branding campaigns on college campuses, such as hackathons, case competitions and quizzes. For students, the site also sells online certification and placement courses.

It is a hosted web platform with an Android app. Posting is free with limits, and paid listing plans (a subscription model) remove the limits. Large employers can also pay per hire or per campaign.
