VEED

An online video editor with AI tools: it edits, subtitles, translates and generates videos in a web browser, for marketing and social media posts.

What VEED is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

VEED is an online video editor and AI video creation platform that runs in a web browser. It was founded on 20 March 2018 by Sabba Keynejad and Tim Mamedov.

A user uploads or records video and edits it in the browser: cutting, joining, compressing, adding text, audio and photos, and removing the background. Automatic subtitles come from speech recognition, and the same videos can be translated or dubbed into other languages. AI tools generate videos, voices, avatars and images from a text prompt, and an avatar clone can be made from one photo and a voice recording. Brand settings apply a company's logo, colors and fonts to every video. Finished videos are exported in formats for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts or LinkedIn. Developer APIs offer lip sync, subtitles and background removal with usage-based pricing.

It is a hosted web service. A free version exists; paid plans are subscriptions charged per seat, that is, per editor in the workspace, with a monthly or yearly allowance of AI credits.
