Yoti is an identity platform from Yoti Ltd, a company registered in London with offices in Australia, Canada, India and the United States. It sells identity verification, age checks, a reusable Digital ID wallet app, electronic signatures and AI services against fraud to businesses.
For age checks, one integration through a single API offers more than ten methods. In facial age estimation, the user takes a selfie and Yoti's algorithm estimates the age from the face in about one second; the data is then deleted. Other methods include an identity document matched to a selfie, the Digital ID, a credit card check, mobile phone data and national eID schemes. The business receives only the result: an over or under age answer, or the age in years. Liveness detection, a check that a real person and not a photo is in front of the camera, protects against spoofing.
Yoti is a hosted service that businesses connect through its API and web portal. The age verification page shows no price; prices come from the sales team.
